This is the seventh in a ten-part series of drabbles, originally intended for 
elisi's birthday three years ago. That plan got derailed halfway through, but I've recently been able to recover my original ideas and now plan on posting all ten tonight.
TITLE: “When a Man Loves a Woman.”

Part Seven: “When a Man Loves a Woman.”
“Think a good fuck will help?”
Faith was pissed.
“I never asked that of you.”
She fell quiet for a second; then swore under her breath.
He took her hand; kissing it. “I can't love you both?”
She didn't pull her hand from his; but she did search his expression.
“You love her more than me?” Which he'd never denied; his eventual response surprising her.
“And for a lot longer,” adding, before she could answer that, “You love Buffy as much as I do.”
Faith nodded ruefully, for this she could not deny either.
Matter settled, they made love.

"When a Man Loves a Woman"
Date: 13 Jun 2016 18:17 (UTC)I think it should be posted on other sites though, it's too beautiful to be allowed to vanish if this account gets deleted somehow, and that makes me worried.
I am asking you to post it on other fanfic sites, so you can have further backup to your story online and also the praise of others who find this wonderful piece of a beautiful story (minus the explative, of course- the story was beautiful minus the explative and the implications of sex- that is unless they're married at the time, but still no-one should be talking like that to their spouse, it appears that it'd involve abuse), but the concern made it a beautiful story.
Fun story, despite the curse-word and the sexual references- those are the only two things I do not like about this, but the apparent maturity shown by the characters is what I like so much about it.
